At the Oatlands Referral Centre we are also able to offer clients laser dental treatment using our top-of-the-range “QuickLase” equipment. This fast and precise method can help with a multitude of treatments such as gum contouring and periodontal and endodontic processes.

Why use laser treatment?

Using lasers for treatments offers a lot of benefits for patients, including:

How do we use laser treatment?

We use a soft tissue laser to supplement various different treatments including gum surgery, periodontal processes, mouth ulcer treatment and even for taking impressions. It can also be used for cosmetic dental work such as shaping and contouring the gums. As well as lasers being precise, they are also quick and far less painful.

Using laser treatment means that stitches are not required and bleeding is minimal as the laser beam helps blood to clot. It also sterilises the area, minimising risk of infection and the preciseness means that there is no damage to the surrounding area and new tissue is regenerated a lot faster.
