At Oatlands Referral Centre we provide clients with a wide range of types of braces including the Invisalign Brace System which is clear and removable so much less visible.

What is the Invisalign Brace?
Invisalign is a unique system as it uses a set of aligners which are both removable and nearly invisible. They are designed in a bespoke way so that they perfectly match each person’s teeth. Whilst traditional braces can be bulky and make the wearer feel self-conscious, the Invisalign System is discreet, comfortable and can be easily removed for cleaning.
Instead of having one brace that is adjusted, a custom-made aligner is created every fortnight so when we fit a patient’s aligner, we book them in for their next appointment. Each set varies a little bit so that the teeth slowly and gradually move into their position and, as each aligner is subtly different, there is very little discomfort.
Why use Invisalign?
As well as being very discreet, the Invisalign System doesn’t use wires, brackets or plates so is comfortable and doesn’t irritate the mouth and gums. It also doesn’t trap food particles therefore doesn’t cause bad breath and can be left on for up to 22 hours without any adverse effects.
There are several different types of Invisalign braces that we can offer to patients:
Invisalign Full
This transforms mild to moderate teeth alignment issues such as overcrowding, gaps, over and under bites. It can be used as a stand-alone treatment or before other dental treatments such as implants and crowns.
Invisalign Lite.
The Lite system is much like the Full aligner but just fits on to the first six to eight teeth so is a good solution for patients who do not have many teeth to be aligned.
Invisalign i7
The i7 incorporates 7 teeth aligners and is fitted to the front teeth. Much like the other subcategories of Invisalign aligners, it gives great results and is easy for the patient to remove for cleaning and fit back in.
Invisalign Teen
The Teen version of the Invisalign is specially designed for younger patients; it comes with six free replacement aligners in case it gets lost or damaged and has blue colour indicators that fade over time to show the patient when it’s time to get their next aligner fitted.
