Incognito Braces

As part of our range of braces we also offer lingual braces which are completely incognito. Originating from the Latin word ‘lingua’, meaning tongue, a lingual brace sits behind the teeth to straighten misaligned teeth.

Why lingual braces?

As well as being invisible as the brackets are fixed onto the rear surface of the teeth, it is easy for the wearer to clean their teeth properly and therefore less likely to risk damage to their teeth.

Types of lingual braces

At the Oatlands Referral Centre we supply the Incognito Brace which is extremely discreet and effective. The patient can smile with complete confidence as the brace is hidden behind their teeth so they are an ideal solution for people who want straighter teeth without feeling self-aware. It can be fitted to patients of all ages. At the patient’s consultation we outline their personal treatment plan and all costs involved.

How is the Incognito Brace fitted?

Much like other braces and aligners, the Incognito brace is fitted to each individual patient. As well as assessing the patient’s teeth and taking measurements, we use computer technology to ensure it is a comfortable, snug fit.

The Incognito Lite brace.

The ‘Lite’ version of the Incognito brace works in the same way as the regular model but is used on just a few teeth, usually between six to eight teeth. It is still discrete and custom made to each patent’s specific measurements.

We happily accept referrals from other surgeries so that other patients can benefit from the discreet alignment that comes from Incognito braces.
